Make your own Bathroom Scrub!

I follow a great blog called Econobusters with Molly Green ( you can find her HERE. This mornings email had a great non-toxic bathroom scrub recipe that I wanted to share with you! Here ya go!

Make Your Own Bathroom Scrub

Supplies



Old squirt bottle
1/2 cup baking soda
1/2 cup borax
1 tablespoon salt

1 tablespoon lemon juice



Directions

Add baking soda, borax, and salt to your squirt bottle.
Mix slowly as you sprinkle in the lemon juice a little at a time.
Once everything is in, put the lid on the squirt bottle and shake it up until it is mixed completely.
Now you have a great non-toxic scrub for your toilets, showers and tubs!

There are ALOT of more recipes for ALOT MORE homemade cleaning and beauty products that I use. I will try to get more up on here and the week goes by! Enjoy this one!

I have been using this scrub for close to a decade! I use it on everything from the bathroom to the kitchen counters and sinks! It really works fantastically.

You can also mix 1tbsp of borax and 1 tbsp of washing soda together and put them in the dish washer to get your dishes clean. :)

Thanks so much for all the good tips Crystal! I'm glad to hear you can use this with the counters as well. I bet it would be good as a spot cleaner on the kitchen floor as well?!
